For a displaced child in Gaza, the loss is rarely just a home.

Many have lost the people who kept them safe too. More than 39,000 children in Gaza have been orphaned or separated from their primary caregivers. Many are now trying to survive while looking after their younger siblings.

The reward of caring for an orphan

The Prophet ﷺ said that he and the one who cares and provides for an orphan will be together in Paradise, and he held his two fingers close together to show how near (Sahih al-Bukhari).

Be the reason a child is not forgotten

A displaced child in Gaza needs food, water, a safe place to sleep and someone who hasn't forgotten them. Give once or give monthly, with your Sadaqah or Zakat, and help care for them.
